Wayne Yanda's program focused on the transpacific rivalry between the United States and Japan during the interwar years and how it led to the development of the PRESIDENT JACKSON-class of 1940. He shared rarely seen images of the Jackson's interiors, and mural studies generated through a nationwide competition to decorate the Jackson and her sisters.
