ROYAL TEA ABOARD CUNARD’S QUEEN MARY 2

On Friday, October 4, 2019, 78 PONY Branch members and guests visited Cunard’s famed QUEEN MARY 2 while the liner was docked at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. After touring some of the public rooms including the Chart Room lounge, Britannia Restaurant, Royal Court Theatre and Illuminations (the largest planetarium at sea), those attending enjoyed a Royal Tea in the Queen’s Lounge with champagne and musical accompaniment by a string trio. Later that day the ship set sail on a 7-night cruise to New England and Quebec City, Canada.
